Maybe you've left. Maybe you're trying to. Maybe you're still in it and only beginning to wonder whether what you're living through is okay. Wherever you are, you're welcome here, and you don't have to be sure before you reach out. I'm a licensed therapist, and I work with women navigating toxic, controlling, and abusive relationships, whether that is narcissistic abuse, coercive control, or something you can't quite name yet. Many of the women I see arrive exhausted from gaslighting, self-doubt, anxiety, and a guilt that was never theirs to carry. Underneath it are the patterns that kept them stuck: self-abandonment, codependency, people-pleasing, and the slow loss of who they used to be. Here is what I want you to know about working with me. I move at your pace, and I will never push you. We start by helping you feel safe, then we make sense of what happened, quiet the anxiety and hypervigilance, lift the blame, and rebuild trust in your own mind and your own worth. You will learn to set boundaries that hold and to recognize what safe love actually feels like. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in attachment and nervous-system work, drawing on proven methods like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and ACT, always tailored to you. I see women only, by secure video, across Colorado and South Carolina, and I take insurance. I offer a free fifteen-minute consult so we can see if we are the right fit, with no pressure and no commitment. Most new clients begin within a few business days.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You are not sure it was bad enough. You do not need bruises, a label, or a tidy story to deserve help. If it left you anxious, doubting yourself, and walking on eggshells, that is enough. We start exactly where you are. You are afraid of being judged. You will not be. I am not here to grade your choices or ask why you stayed. I am here to help you feel safe enough to finally breathe. Most women tell me our first talk was the first time in years they felt heard instead of managed. You are scared it will be too much. You set the pace, always. You will never be asked to relive more than you are ready for. We can go slow, and slow still works. You are worried about the cost. I take insurance and check your benefits up front, so nothing catches you off guard. Private pay is there if it fits better. So here is the only step in front of you. A free, fifteen-minute conversation. No commitment and no pressure, just a chance to be heard and to see if I am your person. If I am not, I will help you find who is. We meet online and privately, from wherever you feel safe, and most women begin within a few days. You have carried this quietly for long enough. You do not have

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every woman is different, so the work is shaped around you, but here is the general arc of it. Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other. You tell me what brought you in, as much or as little as feels okay, and we talk about what you would like to feel different. There is no pressure to share your whole history at once, and nothing has to be relived before you are ready. From there, we usually begin with safety and steadiness. Before we touch the harder material, we calm the anxiety and hypervigilance your body has been holding, and we put words to what happened, because understanding it is often the first relief. Many women feel lighter simply from learning that what they lived through has a name and was never their fault. As you feel more grounded, we move into the deeper work: untangling the self-doubt, rebuilding trust in your own mind, setting boundaries that hold, and gently processing the experiences that still hurt. I draw on attachment-focused and somatic, nervous-system approaches, along with EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and ACT, matched to what you need rather than a fixed formula. A typical session is a conversation. We check in on how you are, focus on whatever feels most present for you that week, and I make sure you feel settled before we close. You always help steer where we go. Most clients meet weekly by secure video, and we adjust the pace together as you heal.
