I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who helps individuals explore and strengthen all kinds of relationships—romantic, familial, social, and most importantly, the one they have with themselves. While I don’t see couples directly, many people come to me as a first step in considering couples work. My focus is on helping you recognize patterns, get clear on your needs, and build the emotional skills to create more intentional, fulfilling connections.

The office manager sent me my insurance copay ahead of time, which was helpful. The office was easy to find and comfortable, and somehow I got parking right out front! I really appreciate Yessenia’s down-to-earth and direct approach. I believe that I have found a safe atmosphere where I can comfortably explore my thoughts and feelings. Yessenia has a talent for cutting through the noise and honing in on what truly matters.

I didn’t feel as heard in the first session. At no point was it brought up that I filled out about why we were seeing counseling so not sure why ask patients to fill that out first.
There has been some serious escalation in my relationship and did not feel like it was taken as seriously in this session to talk about safety. Each time my partner agreed with something but I did not, the therapist would kind of smile and make me feel like it was a he vs she standpoint.
