“Amy is a fantastic therapist! I was her patient for almost a year and a half, and in that time she was able to help me process my anxieties and trauma around health and self-worth. She is very professional, warm, compassionate, and is an incredibly observant listener. She was able to effectively guide me to examine, comprehend, and manage the emotions and anxieties I would bring into the sessions. With her help I was able to gain a better sense of self-worth and compassion, along with some techniques to manage my own mental well-being during life's rough moments. I high recommend Amy!”

We can not recommend her enough!
Amy is incredibly warm and approachable, making it easy to open up to her. She has a great ability to listen carefully and guide conversations in a thoughtful and meaningful way. Throughout our nearly year-long sessions, she has provided me with invaluable advice, helping me recognize the sources of my negative emotions and anxiety. With her support, I have gained a deeper understanding and acceptance of myself, while also learning to prioritize my mental well-being in a more scientific and effective way. Highly recommend her!
For the past year and a half, my (now) husband and I had the pleasure of working with Amy in couple's therapy, and we are so grateful for her support during such a significant chapter in our relationship. During this time, our focus was planning for our future as a couple and assessing if (and when) marriage was the right path for us. Amy brought such a compassionate, supportive, grounded perspective that made each of us and our unique perspectives feel validated. Sessions always felt like a safe space to be vulnerable, especially as we examined patterns and beliefs that we discovered were shaping how we relate to, and connect, with one another. This can sometimes be an uncomfortable process, but I found time and time again we were met with warmth and understanding. At the end of the day, I really appreciated how much Amy always championed us as a couple and helped remind us that we're on the same team, even amidst disagreements or tension. We highly recommend working with Amy!
Amy Chen is an outstanding therapist. She is highly observant and allows a lot of autonomy to the patient, while also providing very effective guidance where needed. There was a lot of continuity across sessions which made them more productive. She helped me a lot. Communication and organization with her and her office was always effective and efficient.
I've been seeing Amy regularly for about 2 years and it's one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I specifically wanted a therapist that's Asian and identifies as female, as I wanted to ensure that I felt comfortable talking about my identity as well as feel safe expressing my feelings without worrying about how they'd perceive me. Seeing Amy and working through my emotions and issues has really allowed me to be more in tune with myself, like my wants and needs, as well as being more comfortable and proud of myself as an individual. She really makes you feel safe, heard, and understood, which is exactly what I was searching for in a therapist.
I am so lucky to have been a patient of Amy's. She is thoughtful, kind, patient, and brilliant. She always took her time to really understand my thoughts and feelings, asking questions and guiding me in the right direction. Each session felt like a warm, cozy blanket - Amy really creates a safe and welcoming space for you to be yourself. I never once felt judged or disrespected. She helped guide me to a place that I feel comfortable using tools and strategies to handle anything that comes my way. She was ready to take on any challenge with me, and I am so grateful for that. Amy is the best!
I was seeing Amy for about 6 months - 1 year in 2022. I saw her when I needed it the most and she was the first therapist I had ever been to. She helped me figure out a lot of issues and mostly was a person to open up to about topics and issues I had never done in my life before.I would reccomend Amy to anyone.
Our experience with Amy has been truly transformative. From the very first session, her compassionate and insightful approach created a safe space for us to explore and navigate the complexities of our relationship. Amy combined her expertise and emotional intelligence to even recommend books for our personal growth. Amy's expertise in couples therapy is evident in the thoughtful strategies she employs, fostering an environment of trust and growth. We're grateful for the positive impact Amy has had on our relationship and highly recommend her services to anyone seeking support. And yes, my wife and I are still together!
I am so thankful for Amy and the practice because it helped me tremendously during such a difficult time in my life. This was my first time seeking out therapy and feel so fortunate that I had a therapist that was exactly what I needed, someone who would listen to me and help me navigate my thoughts, understand patterns, unpacking things from my past. I was able to express myself without judgement, learn how to enforce healthy boundaries, and find the confidence I had lost over the years. I can't recommend Amy enough, she has truly helped me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. Our sessions have been a huge part of my growth and progress and I will always be grateful.
I worked with Amy for about two years and she was an invaluable part of my personal growth and recovery. She was always professional, compassionate, and kind. Amy not only listened and created a non-judgmental safe space, but also provided genuine and effective methods to help control my anxiety. She is the type of therapist to help you take action or dig deeper into your problems. She makes a real effort towards both listening and engaging in conversation, which really helped me talk through my issues and find solutions. My time with Amy saved my life and I cannot recommend her enough!
Amy was an amazing therapist! She’s kind, empathetic, and an excellent listener. She was also very thoughtful about understanding and establishing therapy goals with me, and helping me work towards them.
