I started my private practice by incorporating my experiences to work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship problems, and acculturation issues. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College, City University of New York.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am the licensed clinical social worker in NYC and has been working in the community-based city outpatient clinic as clients who are struggling with life's stressors in different extend. In addition, I have been using treatment modalities of DBT, CBT, IFS, attachment/ relational approach, strength bases and prolonged exposure therapy. The beauty of therapy is discovering the remarkable grace and blessings that have been embracing you. I will work with you together in the journey with collaborative process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A necessary part of life is facing difficult situations that will be hard to understand, and thus we seek validation. When you are overwhelmed with emotions, you are unable to address them and respond negatively. You might be aware of your sadness, anxiety, fears, and shame. In that process, you could uncover a lot of how you defend yourself from rejection or part of our vulnerable self both consciously and unconsciously.
