What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients should know that I believe therapy is a collaborative process where your experiences, values, and goals are respected. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while developing practical skills and strategies to support your emotional well-being and meaningful, lasting change. Your feedback is always welcome, and I will regularly check in to ensure that our work together continues to meet your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with getting to know you, understanding your concerns, strengths, and goals, and building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals, using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral techniques, somatic practices, and strengths-based interventions. Sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing time for open discussion, reflection, and skill-building. Throughout therapy, I regularly check in with you about your progress and what is or is not working so we can adjust the approach as needed. I encourage clients to be active participants in their treatment, and your feedback is always welcome.
