For over 20 years, I’ve been in the field of mental health and complex trauma therapy. My top areas treated include complex trauma, chronic people-pleasing, and healing from emotional abuse or bullying (narcissistic abuse). I also created a music album for healing from complex trauma and narcissistic abuse, which is streaming everywhere you consume music. Tina Rix’s albums are titled *No Looking Back* and *Where I’m Headed*. My approach The therapeutic approaches I utilize include, but are not limited to, Trauma-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Family Systems Therapy. My focus The clinic focuses on deep-rooted healing from trauma related to narcissistic abuse, childhood trauma, scapegoated child, smear campaigns (gossip, slander, defamation of character), PTSD, CPTSD, toxic shame, people-pleasing, self-love deficit, depression, bullying, low self-esteem, and anxiety. All Cluster B personalities cause harm, and we help you heal. My communication style I strive to provide a conversational, warm, encouraging, testimonial, and supportive environment for my clients. My journey to mental healthcare What led me into this line of work was the past trauma and abuse I faced as a child and adolescent against my own will. In my late teens, I realized I wanted to help others overcome struggles, trauma, losses, and hardships as I navigated through mine and learned how to overcome my own. Education I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Prairie View A&M University. My goals for you It’s a collaborative process with the client. My first session with you Expect to share your story while I support you and evaluate your treatment needs.
