About Dr. Adnan Yousuf
Dr. Adnan Yousuf is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. He specializes in General Internal, Preventive and Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Yousuf graduated from the University of Calcutta in India and practiced medicine for several years before moving to and settling in Houston, Texas. In the United States, he completed his residency and graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine in 2006 and has been practicing medicine here ever since.
Dr. Yousuf sets himself aside from a lot of doctors in the way he cares for his patients. He thinks of every one of his patients as an individual with special and sensitive needs. Patients receive as much time as they need with thorough medical examination, meticulous attention to detail, counseling, education, and every possible treatment option and recommendation, so that they are absolutely comfortable with the medical and personal care they receive.

He also offers personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy life style and prompt and appropriate referrals for preventive and diagnostic testing and screening procedures.
He actively coordinates patient care with other specialists, including cardiologists, nephrologists, gastroenterologists and surgeons. He offers onsite EKGs, Echocardiograms, Carotid Doppler studies and Ultrasounds.

I would not recommend him if you would like to know any other information about your injury or symptoms. Very abrupt and was too busy filling out forms on his computer about the visit to answer any questions. His answers would be brief and very uninformative and any further questions would be answered with "could you be quiet while I populate your information." To top that off he clearly lacked the skills to identify and diagnose my problem, since I had a tear in a ligament to which he eventually wrote me a referral for a MRI after me insisting that it was not swollen and in pain for no reason.
Horrible visit, I hope he was just in a bad mood that day.

The Dr thoroughly listened, assessed, explained what steps we would go about breaking down one step at a time each factor until we derived at the exact cause of the issues I am having. Dr. Yousuf seemed sincerely concerned about my illness and took time to address immediate concerns as well as other health issues.
I was advised to call before noon today if I had any problems since the office will be closing for the holiday.
Dr. Yousuf called in an additional prescription and gave advice to overcome an issue.
