About Dr. Ahmed Butt
Dr. Ahmed Butt, a native of Northern Virginia, received his medical degree from West Virginia University. Upon completion of a 4 year dual residency program in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics, Dr. Butt spent 2 additional years training in an allergy and immunology fellowship at the University of South Florida. During his fellowship, he was actively involved in numerous research projects, some of which included advancements in the treatment of asthma, eosinophilic esophagitis and chronic hives. Dr. Butt has presented several of his publications at national, as well as international scientific conferences. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He serves as a medical advisor for the Allergy & Asthma Network and is an assistant clinical professor at Medical College of Virginia.

Really impressed with Dr. Butt and his nurses. I had another Allergist who helped me about 10 years ago but was looking closer to home and I’d say big improvement with this team. Front office didn’t realize I had emailed all paperwork so was a scramble when I got there. They confirmed receipt via email but then acted like they had no idea. Also some confusion initially booking on Zocdoc because they see by appointment only on Friday but the messages weren’t as friendly. Ultimately they booked me on a Friday morning but not as seamless as other providers I’ve used.

Dr. Butt was very friendly and thorough. He spent a lot of time asking me all the right questions about my allergies to really get to the bottom of my problems. The allergy testing was painless and quick, and his staff were all very friendly. His office is a little shabby (the waiting room was very crowded), but the service is great.

We were very pleased. Dr. Butt spent alot of time adessing our granddaughter. Very polite and concerned with her issues and treatment. We will defantly recommend Dr Butt to all family and friends.

Dr. Butt is our family allergist. He has successfully treated my husband during the past several years. He is now down to one slot per month. He is great with TY for hives. He takes time to answer all questions. He is great addition to the Fredricksburg area.

Office was clean and welcoming. I was a new patient and was seen right away with no long wait. The Front desk as well as the nurse were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Butt was friendly, inviting and very professional. He was thorough with his explanations and answering my questions. Great experience at this practice. I'll be coming back with the whole family. Would definitely recommend!
