About Dr. Alexander Marotta
Dr. Alexander Marotta received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where he achieved entrance to the AOA medical honor society. He then completed his internship and residency at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. He completed his Allergy/Immunology fellowship at National Jewish Medical and Research Center, which is considered by many to be the top Asthma and Allergy training program in the country. He has been in taking care of patients in Bergen County since 2005.
His focuses include asthma, food allergy, and allergic rhinitis, particularly in children, but he treats patients of all ages for all allergic conditions.
When not in the office, Dr. Marotta enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and fishing. On rare occasions, you may even find him performing on stage singing or acting.

I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Marotta. I was seen relatively quickly. What impressed me the most was how much he was listening to me. Every thing I said, he provided feedback for. He explained every symptom and possible outcome in detail. He actually cared. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but for someone who's seen a lot of doctors, it means the world. He also requested a myriad of tests and went into detail about potential outcomes. I still have to book a follow-up, but I truly appreciated everything he did when I saw him.

Honestly, This doctor absolutely BLEW ME AWAY. Blew me away!!!!!! & I am rarely wowed by Doctors nowadays. Bedside manner is just unbelievably amazing. Such a sweet & knowledgable man who took the time to explain what’s going on for like 40 min! An absolute sweetheart and may God bless him for treating his patients with such care and love. It truly shows. Also, I think I sat for like 3 minutes in the waiting room before being called & he came in the room right away! I was stunned! Never did I have such a pleasant experience at a Doctor’s office from start to finish. I was out in no time & was just so happy I received the care I needed! I can’t recommend Dr Marotta highly enough! He isn’t a pediatric allergist, but he might as well be. He was so wonderful with my 3 and 6 year olds. He knew how to talk to kids and made them feel comfortable immediately. He explained everything he’d be doing to them directly and it made a huge difference. He even altered his process to accommodate my 3 year olds worries. He was fantastic and we would go back to him without question if we needed to.
