About Dr. Amy McHugh
Dr. McHugh is a member of the American Optometric Association. She is board certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry and then New Jersey State Board of Optometrists. She has been published in numerous scientific journals and has a patent for her scientific research. Dr. McHugh has lectured at local optometry society meetings focused on the continued education for local optometrists in the area of ocular disease. She has also lectured at schools discussing ocular health and the importance of seeking eye examinations.
In her free time, Dr. McHugh enjoys adventuring outdoors including visiting US national parks, hiking, camping and water sports. She also enjoys nature photography and cooking.
