It was very good

I like Dr. Hammer but I don't like the Visionary Eye Doctors organization. Why ever do you have to pay extra to get a prescription when you have an eye exam? Separate visits/payments for medical vs prescription is crazy.
Very helpful!
The staff was super friendly and helpful!!!

Wonderful staff and Dr Hammer was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my problem. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or family.

My visit was very, well, clinical... meaning, I felt like he was a bit “churn and burn” with his patents. His assistant, though, was much more kind and welcoming. She had a great demeanor and was helpful and answered my questions very well. Now, he was kind too...but was almost scripted... lacking any real, genuine bedside manner. And he used medical terms I didn’t understand when answering my basic questions. Again, it felt like he had the absolute minimum interest in me as a patient, since I was one of dozens he’d see that day.

Very professional. Thorough checkup in a mordern facility. For the first time I was not pressured to buy new glasses. He is honest.

Seems like a busy office. Front desk staff was polite. The technician who did my eye exam was great, very friendly. Dr. Hammer made sure to double check my eyes and fine tune my exam results for a more accurate prescription. Glasss will take 2 weeks to come in - so that was the only downside

Dr.Hammer was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and his staff is legit ! . Like everyone is so kind and just about their business. I love it. This is now my go-to eye specialist. I left my previous doctor and moved all my business here. Good people who actually care. They are bilingual which is a plus btw .

Dr. Hammer reviewed my medical history and listened carefully to the current problem. Understood that my regular ophthalmologist was on vacation and this was to address a current medical problem.
The wait time was long, but both staff and doctor were courteous and helpful. The office is kind of busy since they offer vision care service (glasses and lenses) as well. Parking is available under the building but you pay for it.

Dr Hammer is very attentive and answers questions clearly and concisely. He also explains the reasoning behind his actions thoroughly with you. I haven't felt rushed by him in any of the appointments I've made, either.
Verified patient
Dr. Hammer was very courteous and attentive. He seemed to actually listen to what I had to say and didn't talk to me like I was an idiot. He clearly and concisely communicated with me and was very helpful. I did not feel rushed in any way. However, the wait time to see him was rather long (about 40 minutes counting the time the tech was with me doing some diagnostic tests). I'm going to chalk it up to him taking the time to listen to every one of his patients and make sure he has helped them as much as he can before he moves on to his next patient.
Well informed, answered my questions.
