Qualifications and Experience
Dr. Albert grew up in French Canada and graduated from the University of Laval medical school at 23 years old. He practiced family medicine and worked in the emergency room for 9 years before leaving Canada for Texas due to weariness from battling socialized medicine. His first home in Texas was Ballinger, where he had a very busy family practice, worked the emergency room in San Angelo, and owned and operated a vineyard and winery. He lived and worked in West Texas for the next 13 years until he moved to the Metroplex and started full-time in Emergency Medicine, where he worked for 6 years until attempting retirement. Apparently, he was not good at retirement and returned to family practice in 2005. He bought Texas Medical Home in 2007 with his Physician Assistant, Shandolyn Story. The practice grew so quickly they had to move to a larger location in 2011. The list of services provided at the clinic is extensive, and in addition to treating acute and chronic illnesses for men, women, and children, there is a long list of procedures performed as well. All the clinical personnel at the clinic, including Dr. Albert, speak both English and Spanish, and although Dr. Albert’s native language is French, after living in Texas for the past 32 years, he is now fluent in Texan as well. His patients describe him as smart, funny, compassionate, and approachable. He doesn’t have much free time outside of work, but when he does, he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, as well as driving fast cars, playing classical piano, and relaxing at the lake. His true passion in life is medicine, which is clear after you meet him, and he has no plans for attempting retirement again.

He is very nice Dr. And very friendly l would like to recommond everyone
Everyone working here is very helpful and kind despite being as busy as they are.
I would go in for a yearly physical and wellness check and he would just generally check me out. I'm used to doctor's running blood work. It felt weird to say "Could you please take my blood?" so I'm just looking for a different doctor. Also, the waiting room was a bit run down and gross. I'm pretty sure it was from all of the kids who came to visit but I didn't like to put my white purse on the chairs, to give an example. Everyone was really nice and his bedside manner was great, though.
Office was nice, staff was friendly, doctor was patient and helpful. Wait time was little long and the wait room was hot, but other than that, a great experience.
Dr. Albert is very personable and has made very positive recommendations to improve my overall health. I feel comfortable knowing I am getting very good care and his experience in the medical field helps answer any concerns I may have over treatment.
Dr. Albert is very encouraging and a kind-hearted person. He cares for his patients, and told me that he would "cheer me on" to get better. He went over and beyond! Dr. Albert graciously gave me his time and greatest efforts to serve. I would highly recommend him and his medical team!
The doctor and his staff were great. However, I showed up at 12:20pm for a 12:30pm appointment. Was told they had me down for 1pm. Showed them my 12:30pm confirmation from ZocDoc and asked if I should reschedule since I didn't have time to wait around for 40 minutes for 1pm to roll around. They said no, but then I sat in waiting room for about 15 minutes and in the back room for about 20 minutes before seeing doctor. It was well after 1pm by the time I saw him. With all of the waiting around, I wasn't out until 2pm. Needless to say, my employer wasn't thrilled since usually the visit doesn't take more than an hour.
All of the staff are very helpful and kind. I enjoy my visits, even though I'm sick.
I was a bit annoyed with the wait time but really appreciated Dr. Albert acknowledging the wait without my having to say anything and apologizing for it. The wait isn't usually near as long as it was today (about 30 minutes) and he explained how they had been busy after the holiday weekend.
Very friendly staff and Dr!
On of the best doctor in the area
Highly recommend this Doctor. Very informative and patient with you, He shows concerns about your medical needs.
Everyone was nice. I enjoyed my visit.
Very professional and kind staff. Dr. Albert really cares about your concerns. You feel treated as a person and not just as a client.
Friendly staff and great bedside manner
Dr. Albert always makes me feel at ease and is very friendly and personable.
He immediately put me at ease. His staff was very efficient and professional. Got me in, took care of me, got me out, and most importantly called me back when they said they would.
Everyone in the office is really nice and the Doctor is super friendly and intelligent.
It was amazing all the people were nice and friendly. The doctor was very professional
It was a great and easy experience that was well timed out.
Very friendly and caring staff. Dr. Albert is a genuine person who likes what he does and is good at it.
Dr. Albert is probably the most friendly Doctor I have had the opportunity to have as my physician .Always in a happy mood and outgoing . Had a god appointment .
He is the Best and worth the wait. Even his staff and Dr. Shaina are awesome people
Very compassionate and caring, definitely recommend as primary care doctor. I also like that he prefers not to write prescriptions for narcotics and other addictive pharmaceuticals
I love that he took the time to explain the difference between choices of medication and he took time with me overall.
I thought it was a great place for my family's primary care! They had a personal approach that was very warm and genuine.
Wonderful, compassionate, efficient, knowledgable, professional practice ... Do I need to go on? From front office to medical staff, everyone is great!
Thank You So Much for Always being Awesome!!! Staff Always Included!!! Have a Blessed Day!!!
The doctor was fine. It's the wait time and lack of good customer service that was disappointing. Decent doctor , crappy staff.
The staff and Dr. Albert were nice. My only complaint was no one ever told me my diagnosis. I ended up reading it off the paper I was given.
Love the staff & their incredible knowledge. Great team!!
My visit was pleasant and fast but maybe a little too fast. I don't feel like enough time was spent with me as a patient to really undercover all of my concerns and needs especially since I was a new patient to the office. Nevertheless, everyone was every nice and professional at al time so I would definitely recommend to friends and family if they need immediate care but not sure if I would recommend for primary care doctor.
Doctor was fantastic, his staff seemed to have little to no no knowledge about how to use the online system they referred me to. Also, would have to keep calling to finally get results from testwork since it couldnt be posted to the online system.
The staff and doctor were excellent! I got in right away and they were very nice and answered all my questions. It was one of the best doctors' office experiences I have ever had! I will definitely be back again.
Dr. Albert is wonderful! He really listens to you and always tries to save you money. I definitely recommend him!
Walk in to a bunch of smiling, bright pink scrub wearing ladies. Great personalities and shared some laughs. The Doc was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and seemed like a very nice guy. Plan on coming back next time I'm feeling like.... Crud. Thanks y'all
Very professional. Listens and answers all questions. Will be bringing my family when a medical occurrence is necessary. Would highly recommend.
I was very pleased with Dr. Albert and his office staff. Dr. Albert is professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable being my first visit. I'm happy I found him as my Primary Care Doctor.
Very experienced doctor.
