About Dr. Ashley McCloud
Dr. McCloud is a board-certified Ob-Gyn who has been a valued member of OBGYN Associates since 2014. A graduate of Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science, she balanced academic excellence with leadership, serving as cheer captain for two years and becoming a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed her residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Outside of her practice, Dr. McCloud enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, and quality time with family and friends. She and her husband, Vann McCloud, II, are dedicated sports fans, especially of football, and they share this passion with their three children: Trinity, Cassidy, and Vann III (Trace).

Great bedside manner, dr was aware of my notes I made during scheduling and addressed them promptly. She was prepared with a plan to address my concerns immediately and made an appointment to discuss the testing results before I even started the tests to make sure I knew she took me seriously.

The morning of my appt a rain storm hit with terrible traffic. I called at 7:55am to inform that I was caught in traffic but the answering service stated they only take emergency calls. I arrived at 8:10 for my 8:30am appointment, stood in line behind someone that rode up in my same elevator. When I approached the counter, I was told the Dr refused to see me. Well shucks, I guess the lady I shared the elevator with course the better GYN! As the first appointment of the day I should’ve been seen; I rearranged my work schedule and battled through accident-filled traffic
That time wasted waiting for the Drs “decision” could’ve been spent getting my vitals. Instead, at 8:30am, I got in the elevator and left. Now, I’ve received a “no show” fee bill.
Before my appt the software wouldn’t process my 25 page new patient forms. I filled & refilled the digital forms 4 times. The front desk informed me this has happened to other folks & not to worry.
The waiting area chairs were dirty.

This office is always friendly and super efficient. If I'm going for my yearly checkup, I'm seen and out within 30 minutes, every time. The check-in/out staff at the front desk are always so nice, which is appreciated. With my anxiety I am usually stressed when visiting doctor's offices but I never am here.

From the time I walked in the office for my first appointment, everyone was great. Had a wait as expected. But Dr. McCloud was excellent, she explained everything to me and was so warming. I definitely would recommend her!

The office staff and nurses were fine. Efficient but not particularly friendly which was fine. It was later in the day and I didn’t take it personally.
Dr McCloud on the other hand, was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. If you want to be rushed, unheard, and made to feel like your opinion doesn’t matter then she’s your gal. I’ve been having pelvic pain for months that has recently become worse and instead of having empathy or being comforting she was short and rushing through the appointment. It was overwhelming to say the least. She seemed entirely uncaring and uninterested. Nothing was resolved and she jumped right to scaring me with multiple “potential” diagnoses before even doing my exam or asking questions about my pain. The absolute worst bedside manner. Do yourself a favor and see another physician in the practice.

Dr McCloud is the truth and the staff was kind and professional. I highly recommend DrMCloud especially to my sensitive ladies—she explained what was happening to so clearly carefully.
I entered the appt with a heavy heart and left feeling empowered. I appreciate her and the staff that took care of me today.
