Ayesha Rafi Ahmar is a friendly and competent primary care doctor serving the communities of Lake Mary, Longwood and surrounding areas in Florida. Dr. Ayesha earned her medical degree from the Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her residency in family practice at the Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Ahmar is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.

I went today, July 30, 2025 for a left hip replacement clearance from my Primary Care Physician, Dr. Ayesha Ahmar. because of an emergency with Dr. Ahmar, I saw her physicians assistant, Lydia Marsham. This is my first time being seen by her. She was very nice and did a thorough examination of me, including an EKG. I was given an order for additional bloodwork to be done so it could be reviewed by Dr. Ahmar so my clearance could be sent to the orthopedic surgeon. My appointment was at 2:30 PM, and my appointment was finished approximately one hour later. The receptionist was very nice upon check-in and check out. I received my next appointment schedule in four months and the necessary bloodwork for my orthopedic clearance and for my four month follow up appointment. My overall experience, as always, was very pleasant.
