About Dr. Ayesha Butt
Dr. Ayesha Butt studied Optometry at the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry and Vision Science, Canada, earning distinction, special recognition, and clinical excellence awards for soft and rigid contact lenses.
She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas State Optometry Board. Dr. Butt offers comprehensive routine and medical eye exams focusing on ocular health. She prescribes glasses, soft contact lenses, and specialty RGP/Scleral/Hybrid lenses, specializing in contacts for keratoconus and corneal transplant patients. She uses advanced technology to co-manage with local ophthalmologists to prevent disease progression. Additionally, she is certified by CooperVision's Paragon CRT to fit overnight reshaping or orthokeratology lenses, allowing children and adults to be glasses-free during the day.
Passionate about myopia management, Dr. Butt is a certified provider in CooperVision’s Brilliant FuturesTM Myopia Management Program and fits patients as young as 6 years old with MiSight lenses to prevent worsening eyesight.
As a therapeutic optometrist, she manages dry eyes, ocular infections, and allergies. She tests and monitors tear quantity and quality, using state-of-the-art technology to examine lids and lashes for personalized treatment plans. She is also an optometric glaucoma specialist, diagnosing and co-managing diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Butt co-manages LASIK and cataract surgery patients with local ophthalmologists.

Dr. Ayesha Butt
She couldn’t be nicer! She genuinely wants to help people. She was genuinely thrilled with my results – First time I could see!
This lady is into contacts because she knows what they can do. I was not a believer – I just wanted my glasses. I never had any luck with contacts.
My vision was so bad – it could no longer be 100 percent corrected with glasses. I wore glasses all day long, and my world became smaller. I struggled to see the laptop; I struggled in meetings to see projected presentations; I struggled everywhere!
It took six months and a lot of patience, but Dr. Butt got the perfect prescription, the perfect sizing – and now my contacts have become part of me. And she coached me through the process of putting them in (not an easy task for someone who doesn’t even like eyedrops). But I cannot wait to put them on in the morning when I wake up and I wait until the last minute, taking them off at night right before bed.
My world has exploded!

The visit was great !! Getting your eyes exam is important. The doctor can detect disease of the eye early and treat it right away .. I’m glad to call Dr Butt my eye doctor she’s the best. She cares about her patients vision.

The entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about every aspect of my eye appointment. When it came to picking out fa frame and fitting me properly, I would like to say that LeJoy Polley was the best person I have ever dealt with in an optical practice anywhere. She was extremely helpful & knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. She is an asset to your practice.

The entire staff is friendly and very professional. Every visit has been run in a most professional manner, time is never wasted and great care is given. I actually travel for about 30 minutes to return to this office rather than a closer one because I appreciate the quality of the care.
