About Dr. Brandi Compton-Joseph
It is an honor to meet you.
Since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed of becoming a physician. Back home in Beaumont, Texas, I would play doctor with my dolls while aspiring for educational excellence at Cathedral in the Pines school. After moving to Sugar Land, Texas with my family for greater opportunities, I continued my academic journey through Fort Bend ISD's Dulles Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
I received an honors education and deepened my exposure to the medical field through volunteer work. Alongside academics, I discovered a true love for the arts, playing the violin and participating in the band as a flutist. I also competed as a varsity gymnast at Dulles High School, embracing athletics as another passion.
After graduating from Dulles, I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where I earned my bachelor's degree with a major in Spanish and a minor in Chemistry. It was at Dulles, particularly through one inspiring teacher, Mrs. Garza, that I developed my love for Hispanic culture, which led me to study abroad in Querétaro, Mexico.
I went on to earn my Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas, Houston. I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Despite my love for language and culture, my true calling has always been to help others persevere through medical conditions with hope and dignity.
