Dr. Brandon Cohenmehr brings a unique blend of passion, innovation, and advanced training to Cohenmehr Optometry. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, with a particular focus on keratoconus, glaucoma management, and specialty contact lenses, including Ortho-K and scleral lenses. I was told they accepted my insurance so I drove across LA at rush hour only to learn upon arriving that they in fact would not accept it. This happened twice through zocdoc appointments in the same day.

He was very approachable and encouraged me to ask as many questions as needed. I felt heard and my concerns were validated with the proper steps and psychoeducation. I will be returning in the next 6 months to follow up and get a continuous procedure for my dry eyes. I will also be returning for my general eye exams.

Brandon was great. I had an eye issue that was very rare and he was calm and helpful. The office referred me to a same-day retina specialist which I really appreciated!! I also was able to book this appt the morning-of and they had a ton of availability. Great experience for a panicked morning!

Dr. Cohenmehr put me in new scleral lenses for keratoconus and I'm seeing better than all my previous lenses. He told me this is his expertise and at first I was hesitant but he was completely correct. They fit perfectly and I am seeing a crisp 20/20 for the first time in 10 years since being diagnosed with keratoconus.

Dr. Cohenmehr was the first doctor I went to who offered me a non surgical solution to my chalazion and I am already seeing great results. Additionally, he gave me a dry eye treatment that has made my eyes feel so much better. He is the best.

Dr. Cohenmehr is a fine doctor. I brought up some vision concerns and he checked it out to a satisfactory level. I do however wish there were more opportunities for questions. It felt quite rushed, but I was still satisfied with the appointment, just could've been better.

This was the first time that an eye professional explained everything they were seeing during my exam. It was a very informative experience. I wish I had seen him much sooner. I have a history of fluctuating vision that wouldn't get better with any glasses. The doctor explained that the front surface of my eye was dry and explained it was due to meibomian gland dysfunction. He is doing treatment to help stimulate these glands and I am excited to see the results.

Dr. Brandon Cohenmehr is the only dry eye specialist in Los Angeles to approach my dry eyes with a multifactorial approach rather than just brushing it aside. He explained how my autoimmune condition of Sjogren's syndrome and Rheumatoid arthritis are contributors, got my rheumatologist involved, and fit me in custom fit scleral contact lenses that have changed my quality of life. The lenses are filled with fluid that keeps my eyes moist all day and it was fully covered with insurance. He is someone who truly cares about his patients from the beginning to the end, I don't feel rushed, and he has a very calm demeanor.

I have a rare corneal dystrophy that no eye doctor has been alble to figure out. Dr. Cohenmehr not only diagnosed me but he came up with a treatment that has improved my vision and changed my life. It involved specialty contact lens and a lot of his own time.

I went to Dr. Cohenmehr after suddenly seeing flashes and floaters in my vision. He found my retinal detachment and had me sent right to surgery to have it repaired. I owe my vision to this doctor. Will be a lifetime patient and send my kids and family.

Dr. Cohenmehr is a keratoconus specialist and a scleral lens specialist. He has rehabilitated my vision and I don't go a day when I put my lenses in the morning without thanking him for what he's done for me. He also diagnosed my older brother with keratoconus early so he was able to have corneal cross linking before the disease progressed.

I woke up with an eye infection and didn't know what to do. The cohenmehr optometry team quickly verified my insurance, got me in without a wait, and made everything super easy. The doctor was considerate and prescribed me eye drops that cleared up my eye infection. Its all better now. Thanks!

I was referred to Dr. Brandon after being diagnosed with keratoconus because he is one of the few doctors in Los Angeles who fits specialty contact lenses. He has made the process so easy, got everything covered through my insurance, and has been monitoring my keratoconus to see if I will need any surgical keratoconus treatment. 5 stars all around.

I saw Dr. Brandon Cohenmehr for an eye emergency after my baby scratched my eye with her fingernail. I was in severe pain and urgent need of help. Dr. Cohenmehr was calm, collected, and decisive. He put a special contact lens over it and prescribed me drops and saw me daily until it resolved. I felt I was in expert hands and am all better now. He is an excellent human being as well as a doctor.

Excellent all around, had a very comprehensive eye exam here. They explained to me things about my eyes that I never new and used all types of fancy technology. He also performed a dry eye treatment for me that only took 1 minute and I'm seeing huge results already. This may be the one doctor that I'm looking forward to seeing again.
