About Dr. Caroline Misch

Dr. Caroline Vollberg Misch earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Adventist University before going on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2020. While in school, she developed a deep interest in ocular disease, leading her to pursue a residency in medical optometry. In 2021, she completed a year-long residency at SouthEast Eye Specialists in Chattanooga, TN, where she received focused training in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. Following her residency, Dr. Misch worked in both private practice and hospital-based settings, where she provided full-scope eye care and managed a wide range of ocular emergencies. She recently relocated to Florida to further her career and continue delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. From comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings to urgent care for eye injuries and infections, she is committed to practicing at the highest level to meet each patient’s needs. Dr. Misch believes that every patient deserves to both feel and look their best. She strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and confident in their vision and eye health. She also had the opportunity to travel to Fiji on a mission trip, where she helped build a school dormitory and provided care in a local eye clinic — an experience that deepened her passion for service and helping those in need.
