About Dr. Chizoba Heather Ogoke
Dr. Heather Ogoke received her bachelor's degree in human biology and anthropology from the State University of New York - University at Albany. She is a graduate of the Arizona College of Optometry.
Dr. Ogoke has been a noteworthy leader in the National Optometric Student Association, as she served as president and began the club's participation in Street Run Phoenix Vision Screenings, where the students provided eye care to the city's underserved communities. In addition, Dr. Ogoke has been honored with optometric awards including the Gold Key Optometric Honors Society, Walmart and Sam's Club Leadership Scholarship, and the College of Vision Development 2021 Award. Dr. Ogoke completed a one-year residency at the State University of New York - College of Optometry in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. She is trained in primary eye care, fitting soft contact lenses, managing strabismus, and vision rehabilitation. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, engaging on social media, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

I made my appointment using zocdoc because it says that this provider was in network. I received a voice-mail from the office on Saturday to confirm my appointment. Let me know that they sent me new patient paperwork to my email, and she ended with it, and we need to gather more information on your insurance just to look up the benefits. All of my insurance information was there already. I was then told that they actually don't accept my insurance at all, and I could self pay. You falsely advertised that you accepted my insurance, and then after I drive all the way there, you don't accept my insurance. Why would I want to reschedule with you. Oh, and I still have the voice-mail.
