Christi Cook is a friendly and attentive OB-GYN serving her patients in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Dr. Cook is dedicated to providing her patients with routine gynecological and obstetric procedures, including preconception counseling, exercises in pregnancy, advanced laparoscopy procedures such as hysterectomies, and minimally-invasive procedures for dysfunctional bleeding during menstruation.
Dr. Cook received her medical education from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. She then completed her postdoctoral training with a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Cook is passionate about women’s health, and she strives to provide education, communication, and an open-door policy with her patients. By providing education and proactive communication, Dr. Cook involves her patients in their own health care, which promotes positive aftercare and preventative measures in the future.

I'm new in the area, so was apprehensive about starting over with a new OB-GYN. I looked over the reviews of the doctors in the area, and was impressed with Dr. Cook's, and she is the only one that I saw who had a specialization in menopausal women.
In all my years, I have never had such congenial treatment from everyone I encountered. The receptionists, Wendy the nurse, and the lab techs, and Dr Cook were all very warm and friendly. There was not the feeling of being rushed which unfortunately had come to accept as the norm with medical appointments. I contacted my husband right away to tell him how happy I was with my visit!

She answered all of my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully and made me feel comfortable during my appointment.
