About Dr. Christopher Kerby

Christopher Kerby, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Southern Indiana in 2005. Upon graduation from Indiana University, Dr. Kerby joined Preferred Eye Care and practices at the group's Kokomo location. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, and Wabash Valley Optometric Society. Dr. Kerby provides primary and medical optometric eye care to patients of all ages, including prescribing eyeglasses and a variety of contact lenses. He also offers vision screenings to young children in local schools. Originally from French Lick, Indiana, Dr. Kerby is an avid Indiana University, Colts, and New York Yankees fan. He enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family. Dr. and Mrs. Kerby have two sons, Garrett and Graydon, and reside in Kokomo.

We are on our 4th generation of family to go to preferred eye care, we’ve always had good luck. The day we were in they were running behind, but it was ok because they updated us and everybody was very kind.

Everyone is so pleasant and professional, and Dr. Kerby is the friendliest, most personable doctor I've ever met. Office calls are usually something that I endure, but I actually enjoy the visits with him. There is nothing that I feel needs to be done differently. I just want to give well-wishes for the extra effort having to be made by everyone to bring the new computer system on-board.

My son recommended Dr. Kerby to me. We were talking about eye care and I told him that it had been a few years since I had an eye exam. He told me about Dr. Kerby and I called and made an appointment. I received a Comprehensive Exam with the Scanning Computerized Ophthalm. That was back in 2019 and I go each year for the same exam. It is very nice to work with someone who genuinely cares about the health of your eyes.
