About Dr. Cristina Polizzi
Dr. Cristina Polizzi-Woods graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2014. While attending optometry school, she participated in research projects related to dry eye syndrome and presented a poster at the American Academy of Optometry meeting. Since graduating in 2014, she has been working alongside her father and hopes to take over the practice when he retires. Dr. Polizzi fits both soft and hard contact lenses, is medically trained, and can treat a variety of eye diseases. In her free time, she volunteers at the Golden Paw Society in Huntington Station, caring for cats, and enjoys practicing yoga.

My visit was seamless and pleasant. Dr. Polizzi took the time to explain everything and answer questions I had. She was patient with me and even re-did a test just to make sure all was well despite being able to just brush it of if she wanted to. I also got a new pair of glasses and the support from the staff was so helpful. I'm often indecisive but was given the time to try frames on and get feedback. Well worth a visit

Super-friendly staff, extremely efficient, very thorough eye exam! I really appreciated how much detail the optometrist provided about my conditions and how patiently he answered my questions. I also was impressed with how quickly I was seen (immediately) and how they sent the patient forms in advance so I didn't have to do this on arrival.
