In 2019, Dr. Sánchez received the prestigious honor of being named Colorado’s Young Optometrist of the Year. He has served as President of the COA’s Young Professionals Board and graduated from both the COA’s Leadership Optometric Network and AOA’s Leadership Institute. He successfully completed externship rotations in Colorado and Texas, where he was able to provide care to both English- and Spanish-speaking patients. He enjoys playing softball, snowboarding and spending time with his family and friends while cheering on his favorite teams, the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche.
