About Dr. Dzenana Idrizovic
Dr. Dzenana Idrizovic, OD, also known as Dr. I, is our practice Director. She specializes in Optometry and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Dr. I has over 10 years of medical and optical experience at hospitals and optical facilities, serving a wide variety of patients and medical cases. Her experience includes a specific focus on comprehensive eye exams for kids and adults, regular and specialty contact lenses, dry eye treatment, red/pink eye management, computer syndrome, and glaucoma screenings, among other eye care services. She has extensive expertise in specialty contact lens fittings, including keratoconic, irregular corneas, and post-refractive surgery cases. Dr. I is also a clinical instructor for Optometry students at the New England College of Optometry.
Dr. I earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and completed residencies in Ocular Disease at both Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
She operates with a simple goal in mind: to provide patients with the quality, dedicated care they deserve. Dr. I definetly knows eyes well and is a great communicator but she and her office are also great at roping you into the extra expenses. I left my first appointment telling my whole family how amazing she was, then I went home and figured out that she conned me into paying for services that would be covered elsewhere like having to do a double copay to just simply talk about my dry eyes, a service that would be part of your annual anywhere else. You are basically required to look at their frames and are guilt-tripped if you buy anywhere else (I bought elsewhere). They are also great at the bait-and-switch telling you one thing and giving you another. I would 1000% not go back. Between 2 appts I have no lie spent 7 hours in their offices....

The eye exam part is very rushed. The part where you purchase the glasses is the majority of the time. They try to convince you to purchase the most expensive glasses. Just a FYI.

The store has very unclear hours of operation that change day to day. The doctor herself was over an hour late for all of her appointments. I had to wait an excessive amount of time to be seen. I expressed to her that I do not enjoy wearing contacts and she practically forced me into trying some out because she just would not let go of it. When it came time to pick up my glasses, they sent me a message with a pickup window and when I got there, they were closed. I called the main number and no one knew when they were open. After I finally got my glasses, they did not fit correctly and fell off my face non stop. After one of the falls, the side broke off. I only had the glasses for a few weeks when this happened. VERY unsatisfied with my entire experience.

High pressure sales at every turn. The woman at the front desk is rude and aggressive. They incorrectly charged my insurance and despite multiple attempts to have them fix it, I am still out hundreds of dollars. I won’t be back.
