Hello! I am Dr. Efrain Zepeda, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College. In my 23 years as a mental health professional, one of the most important lessons I have learned is that the most powerful therapeutic intervention is the interpersonal experience that occurs in the client-therapist relationship. Together, we can analyze the past to co-create new meaning and achieve healing. I strongly believe that therapy is not about labeling or judging, but rather about personal discovery.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Throughout these years I have worked with individuals, families, and couples using an empathetic and compassionate approach. This approach has allowed them to pave the path toward self-growth, self-agency, and self-efficacy. I specialize in attachment dynamics, trauma-based conditions, and behavioral as well as cognitive challenges.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
