Dr. Mayro is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Mount Sinai Doctors Medical Group. She sees patients at 262 West 53rd Street. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University, where she was awarded prizes in Ophthalmology and Research. She completed her residency training at the University of Rochester where she was given the Humanism in Ophthalmology award, recognizing unwavering dedication to patient care, advocacy, and health equity.

Dr. Mayro was amazing. I felt like she listened to my concerns and examined me thoroughly. She addressed everything I shared and took her time with me. She even made sure to ask if I had any other concerns or questions left to address. Beside manners were superb. I felt at ease with her and felt that she was very knowledgeable. 10/10 experience.

They had to navigate an abrupt change in location after their office flooded, which forced me to arrive a few minutes late (as I hadn't gotten the news) but took it in stride without a hitch. The doctor was patient and very clear in addressing my concerns. Her assistant was cheerful and efficient. The only glitch was I was unable to answer questions about my contact lens prescription; had they let me know this information would be useful I certainly would have brought it
