About Dr. Elizabeth Dang
Dr. Elizabeth Dang, OD grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA graduating with a B.A. in Sociology. She first became interested in eye care when she worked as a camp counselor for children who were blind or visually impaired. That experience inspired her to pursue a career in optometry. She graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2018, and the following year, she completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at Sepulveda’s Veterans Affairs hospital. Since then, she has worked at Kaiser in Los Angeles, a refractive surgery center in St. Louis, and an ophthalmology clinic in Southern Illinois with a strong emphasis on surgical co-management and ocular disease.
Dr. Elizabeth Dang, OD had LASIK performed in 2021 and is passionate about walking her patients through the pre and post-op experience. She is so excited to be a new resident of NYC and to help to take care of its residents. She is available for general comprehensive examinations, contact lens exams, and consultation for LASIK surgery.

Great doctor and practice. I was told I needed glasses. I told doctor I wasn’t going to wear them and she told me to wear them to get used to them and then use them as I wished.

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Dang! She was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Her assistant also was very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly when showing me frames while I was waiting for my eye dilation. Front desk staff could’ve been a bit friendlier, but I’d definitely return to Dr. Dang.

Had a good experience with Dr. Dang during the appointment, however I was billed much more for this visit than I expected, and more than I have paid for other standard checkups in the past.
