About Dr. Fonda Martin
Dr. Fonda Martin is an OB-GYN serving the community of Marietta, GA. Dr. Fonda Martin received her bachelor’s degree from Spellman College in Atlanta, Ga. She received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. Dr. Martin completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency with the University of Texas at Houston Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital.
Dr. Martin is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, American Medical Association and a junior fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Wow. Dr. Martin and her staff were exemplary. I was informed of everything being done in depth (but not explained to me like i was stupid)by both the nurse and Dr. Martin herself. The nurses’ attitudes were stellar and they made me feel like i’ve been a regular patient for years! (i was a new patient) Dr. Martin is very knowledgeable and friendly, she is absolutely amazing at her job. I hope every OBGYN appointment I have for the rest of my life is with this team.

I really enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Martin. I arrived about 15 minutes early and barely waited 5 minutes before I was called. The nurses were kind and thorough. I waited for a short period before Dr. Martin came in. She explained everything she was doing so I wouldn't be surprised. She answered the questions I had and had helpful opinions.
In general it was an easy experience!

My visit with Dr. Martin was pleasant. She’s got a great bedside manner and very personable. She listens and has an actual conversation with you about your concerns etc. instead of being glued to the computer while asking a list of questions. So glad I found her. Also, everyone at this office is super nice!

Overall great experience. Would highly recommend. Only thing I would say is that they asked me to get there at 12:45 to fill out paperwork but when I got there they were closed so I had to stand outside the door with about 8 other people until they came back from lunch at 1pm. My apt was at 1pm anyway so I would have preferred if they just asked me to come at that time. Once inside though, no complaints. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, quick and efficient.

Dr. Martin listened to all my concerns and walked me through all my options. She calmed my fears and I was able to see light at the end of the tunnel. She is definitely in tuned with the female body and she has a servant heart. The staff there was excellent, especially Ms. Leslie. Dr. Martin is my new doctor and I would definitely recommend her.
