I really don't like leaving negative reviews, and mostly won't bother leaving a review at all unless I've had extraordinarily good service - but this was one of the more negative experiences I've had with a medical professional in years and I wish I'd had a heads up before I went in.
While Dr. Elins was generally pleasant and the staff was very warm and kind - she made me feel uncomfortable a few times by being condescending about my concerns regarding specific kinds of birth control. She also hurried me through my other concerns about symptoms I'd been having, and brushed off my questions. Then, the pap was unnecessarily rough - I bled afterward for the first time in my life.
I was subsequently never notified that my pap results came back (I was told that I would be notified with a phone call either way). I eventually logged in to check and had a few questions about the results - I immediately sent my questions to her through the messaging system. She never replied.
It is now two weeks later, and I had to call the office to get my questions answered/prescription written - which they have assured me will be answered by 4 PM today, nearly a month after my initial visit.
I won't be back to this doctor again, and unless you're in a real pinch I'd encourage you to keep looking, too.

I only have great things to say about Dr. Robinowitz-Elins. I have a couple of chronic conditions that make exams uncomfortable, but she talked me through the process to ensure that it was as painless as possible. She also trusted my knowledge of my body, which is unfortunately rare with gynocologists. She's attentive, knowledgeable and very funny. I will be back!

Dr. Robinowitz-Elins made my visit great. She did a very thorough review of all my contraceptive options when I started having negative side effects with a birth control that I had been on for years. I feel well informed of all of my available options and am prepared to make an informed decision on what path would be best for me. She’s very thoughtful and easy to talk to. It takes awhile to get an appointment with Dr. Robinowitz-Elins, and I have a feeling that is because she is such a great doctor. I've been seeing her for a couple years now, and she is so good at making you feel comfortable in what is otherwise a very awkward situation. She always gives you as much time as you need to ask questions, and provides very helpful, reasonable answers.

I can say that this was my best experience at a doctor's appointment ever. I showed up early b/c I knew there would be paperwork, and I was seen early. Dr. R-E is very personable (with a great sense of humor which I appreciate) and spent as much time as I needed answering all my questions. I was so impressed with the entire experience that I have recommended her to a friend that is new to the area, and raved to friends and family immediately following my appointment.

Dr. Elins was fantastic! I am new to the area and had an urgent issue. She got me in some day and assesed/treated my medical problem. Her bedside manner was wonderful and she put me at ease right away. the office staff cared for my three young children during the visit too!
