Itai Ronen, MD, is an OB/GYN specialist serving patients at Dr. Ronen OB/GYN in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Ronen earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California. After residency, he practiced for an additional year in Los Angeles before returning home to Houston, Texas.
He provides a broad spectrum of women's health services, including routine health maintenance, preconception care, routine and high-risk pregnancy care, contraception, painful and/or heavy periods, Pap smears, STD diagnosis and treatment, vaccination, breast health, mental health, sexual health, surgical services (especially vaginal surgery), and much more.
Dr. Ronen shares practice with his OB/GYN colleague and father, Dr. Pinky Ronen. Together, they combine the latest advances in the field with the invaluable experience gained over many years. Their practice motto is that each patient is treated like a member of the family. It is of utmost importance to approach every patient and her needs with compassion and attention to detail.
He accepts all patients with an open door and welcomes them to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Ronen was incredibly kind and talked with me about my concerns. He was a good listener before the exam and the exam was super fast and efficient.
The office staff were very kind and efficient too. I loved my experience but was surprised they still make you fill out a paper questionnaire. It wasn’t a negative to me though.

Lack of information and communication caused my to waste money for Lyft. About $35 trip. Then receptionist had the nerve to call me a liar. She thought I didn't hear her. I showed her what Information actually received and tried I show I went to zocdoc for appointment and couldn't find who confirmed to the appointment for. Was told they called me but didn't see them in call log and there elevator was out of order with no sign stating it. She gave me two recommendations I called but no one picked up to one of the recommendation. Still have to check the other number. I doubt it is helpful because the note the receptionist gave me says tummy vision ultrasound. Doesn't sound like accepts blueCross Blueshield. Later found out the insurance was discontinued and i was switched to another plan. The receptionist did tell me When I Got There they never accepted blueCross. Why not even be told by anyone about my insurance? Letting a patient take my seat. Only 2 chairs available in waiting.

This office was amazing! Everyone was so nice and I was seen exactly at my appointment time. I was highly impressed that all testing was done in house! Overall, I felt so heard during this visit and I feel more educated about my condition. I definitely recommend him, because he will get to the bottom of your all of your concerns!

Everything was great for the most part: i obviously was in pain and upset, the ultrasound tech was the absolute worst I’ve ever dealt with in my life. She made me feel like a problem and another number on top of being forced to pay before doing the ultrasound i also never saw my actual results. Blood was taken and it was very transactional pay now before i help you type of deal

Dr. It’s I was so personable and listened very well, not like anything I’ve ever experienced with past providers.
