When the LenSx? femtosecond laser-the greatest advance in laser cataract surgery in 20 years-became available in 2011, Dr. Martinez was among the few surgeons in the mid-Atlantic region with access to this technology. He is also one of the few surgeons who has used multiple laser platforms.
