About Dr. Jacob Strous

Dr. J. Ethan Strous was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He went on to graduate from Ohio State University in 2018 with a bachelor of science in biology. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he chose to continue his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Strous pursued his interest in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and cataracts at two renowned surgical centers during his rotations in South Florida. After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Strous practiced primary eye care in Boca Raton, Florida and continued his interest in the treatment of eye disease and specialty contact lens fittings. Recently, Dr. Strous and his wife relocated to the South Shore of Massachusetts and he has joined our team at Abington Eye Care as a full-time optometrist. When Dr. Strous is not seeing patients he enjoys cooking, hiking with his wife Becca and their dog Sadie, golfing, and traveling with friends and family.
