It became very clear to me that Dr. Muller is an above average doctor. She made me aware of something that no other doctor bothered to mention to me. Her insight and willingness to explain and educate her patients is awesome. I am very pleased with the services I received.

saw Dr. Muller a few weeks ago and I can't believe how much better I feel already. I made an appointment after a colleague told me how smart and thorough she is. I had already seen three other doctors, none of whom helped me much. Over the years my eyes were feeling more and more irritated and tired, especially by the end of the day. Then they started to be red intermittently. When I saw Dr. Muller she took a complete history asking me about all my medical conditions, medications I was taking, all of my symptoms, how I used my eyes (computer use, contact lenses, etc.). She then performed the most thorough exam I've ever had. She asked me if I had any environmental allergies (because of something she saw in my eyes), I said not that I knew of, but that I'd never been tested. Then I remembered that I had had congestion lately which was relieved by taking Zyrtek (I originally hadn't remembered to tell her this). I shared this with her and she offer to do a scratch test to see what I might be allergic to. I immediately agreed. Ten minutes later I clearly saw the 11 things I was allergic to. Dr. Muller explained to me how antihistamines exacerbated dryness and asked me to please stop taking them. She gave me several different ways to alleviate my symptoms, none of which would contribute to my already dry eyes. It's unbelievable how much better I feel already after making the changes Dr. Muller had suggested. And by the way, I had told Dr. Muller of some abdominal issues I was having and she recommended I take a probiotic, which I did, and now that issue is gone. Physicians are not interchangeable widgets- there are AMAZING physicians and then there are physicians...

Absolutely fantastic! I don't usually write reviews, but I had to after this visit. Unfortunately, I have seen many, many eye doctors because of years of problems with dryness and allergies, but I have never seen a doctor like this before. Everything about this practice is exceptional- from the front office staff, to the nurses, to Dr. Muller herself. I had been told by several different people how wonderful Dr. Muller is, and still I was shocked. It's amazing how much smarter and better she is than any of the other ophthalmologists or optometrists I have seen over the last twenty years. If you are looking for an eye doctor, you needn't look any further- just call Dr. Muller!

This was a terrible experience, and I would never go again. First, Dr. Muller was about 45 minutes late -- even though I had an 8:15am appointment. This was pretty terrible, because I have a job that expects me to show up on time. But that's fine -- I imagined it was because she was thorough. In fact, Dr. Muller spent about ten minutes on my eyes themselves. Right after, she immediately got to the true point of the exam. First, she asked what "Xyzal" was -- Xyzal is actually a very common allergy medicine that I had put down on my form, but reasonable that she didn't know it because she's an eye doctor, not an allergist. But then, she immediately told me to stop taking it. Seemed odd to tell me to stop taking a drug that she had never heard of, but I asked her why. She told me that antihistamines were bad for my eyes, and I should stop taking them because I probably didn't need them. AFTER telling me I should not take this drug, she then asked me what would happen if I stopped taking it (seems a bit odd for that to be the order). I told her that I got bloody noses and one time it triggered fairly severe acid reflux that required going on a specialized diet for several months. She barely missed a beat, and told me that the drug companies wanted me hooked on antihistamines, and that I should try an alternative allergy treatment, and that I probably didn't even have allergies, and that she would test me RIGHT THERE THAT SECOND. I felt a little uncomfortable, because well... she wasn't an allergist. I have no idea if she would have been accurate or not but I also had an allergist appointment in a few weeks, so I told her that I would just confirm with the allergist that I did in fact have allergies, and get his opinion (because he was an... allergist). She paused, said "well I don't know who your allergist is [because I hadn't told her...], but he will probably tell you you need to take Xyzal, but he's probably wrong." While I was trying to process what I had heard, she again told me she'd do an allergy test. I told her pretty firmly that I didn't want an allergy test, and she asked me why I didn't want a second opinion. I told her that I was now running over an hour late for work. Again -- the issue is not related to the accuracy of her diagnosis. All I wanted was to check my eyes. After telling me THREE MORE TIMES to take an allergy test, she finally gave up and gave me a pile of Internet links and told me she wanted to follow up with me. I declined. On my way out, I learned that because she considered some of the (very standard) eye tests to be medical treatments, rather than vision tests, my Cadillac insurance plan would not cover a substantial part of the treatment. I will never go back again.

I had lasik almost 10 years ago but my vision seems to be regressing. If i were to envision the most perfect ophthalmologist experience, this would be it! I'll list a few reasons: - The moment I walked in the door, the lady at the front desk, warmly (genuinely) greeted me. Everyone that works there seems to love it - i had an eye test w the optometrist, quick yet thorough- not like your standard turn off all the lights and look at 15 slides.. more like 5-6 slides and it was done it a comfortable, naturally lit room - Dr. muller is a hoot! So sweet, VERY knowledgeable, personable and really funny - and really good at explaining medical jargon (lament terms required for me) - she spent more time with me than I thought she would and discovered an issue I had on the spot and treated it, right then and there (with my permission) - she seems like the type of doctor who really gets to know her patients - office is beautiful and pristine Tried to keep this short but it was such a pleasant experience! I would refer all my friends and family to her.

Love, love, love this doctor and her office! Such a positive experience from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous and extremely service oriented. The office was beautiful, clean and comfortable with all the latest technology. Dr. Muller’s bedside manner was exceptional. She was professional, warm and caring. She clearly enjoys teaching and genuinely wanted me to understand my diagnosis and treatment options. I was referred to Dr. Muller by a colleague who raved about her and said she was a brilliant physician. Half my office sees her and I understand why. I had been having eye issues for years and had seen several other ophthalmologists. Unfortunately, none of them had helped me. In just a few weeks Dr. Muller has helped me so much. She has made a huge difference in my quality of life. Seriously, so far superior to the other doctors I had seen. I had read wonderful reviews about Dr. Muller online before I saw her and she still exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I have never had a more positive experience in a doctor’s office. The office was beautiful and immaculate and the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Muller’s assistants were extremely professional; I have never had a more thorough examination while having everything explained to me so clearly. I told Dr. Muller that my eyes were always red, felt irritated and itched me, and that I felt tired often and always felt as if I had a cold. She listened to me, asked additional questions and then examined my eyes. She said she thought I had environmental allergies and offered to allergy test me. I accepted readily and ten minutes later (and without any pain) we clearly saw the 22 (out of 60) things I was allergic to. I started the treatment Dr. Muller recommended and feel so much better. I had complained about the same symptoms to both my internist and my ENT doctor and neither suggested that I may be suffering from allergies. I am thrilled to have found Dr. Muller. She has truly improved the quality of my life. Highly recommend!

I was really impressed with the efficiency. There was basically no wait time and everyone was extremely attentive. I was convinced to take an allergy test along with my eye exam, which was different. It was interesting to know what sort of things my skin is allergic too but also felt a but unnecessary...along with the eye drop medication that I was almost convinced into buying. Overall, good experience and it got the job done.

Be Warned. This practice listed rate of office visits for a walk in that is almost half of what they are billing to patients with health insurance. The office also charge very high fees for every procedure they perform on you no matter how simple the task is. I was charged a very high fee just to get the picture of my eye taken by her assistant using her iphone. I tried to dispute the office visit charge in the bill they sent me but instead of communicating with me, they completely drained my debit card account of which number they had on record from my initial visitr without any prior warning or obtaining any type acknowledgement from me while I am still disputing the office visit fees with this ophthalmologist office.

Dr. Muller is a wonderful doctor and an amazing surgeon. Three of my colleagues had laser vision correction (LASIK) surgery performed by her and raved. My experience with Dr. Muller, at the time of my consultation, was perfect. Dr. Muller performed the most thorough examination of my eyes I have ever had, while explaining everything and answering all of my questions. I recently had my surgery and it’s fabulous! I can see much better than 20/20 (20/15 plus a couple of letters on the 20/10 line) and I have a crispness and clarity to the quality of my vision that I never had before in my glasses or contact lenses. Don’t even bother going any place else for any aspect of your eye care- see Dr. Muller!

I was referred to Dr. Muller by several of my colleagues and she definitely lived up to her reputation. She was very professional and thorough, she listened and explained things. She was the fourth doctor I saw for my problem and finally I have the correct diagnosis and the treatment she placed me on has greatly improved my sight, my comfort level and my quality of life. She’s clearly very smart and she’s also very personable. I’d HIGHLY, and without reservation, recommend Dr. Muller!

If you only read a couple of lines of this review I would like you to take away the following: THIS IS NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY FACILITY, DR. MULLER IS NOT GOOD WITH KIDS (or with people in general), IF YOU HAVE EMPIRE BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD FIND ANOTHER FACILITY AS THEY DO NOT LIKE TO SEE PATIENTS WITH THIS INSURANCE! I am not sure how she could possibly be so highly rated the only way it is possible is she somehow does well with other adults, me excluded. The whole experience was awful, one of the receptionists was rude and short, the doctor spoke to me in a condescending tone from the moment she met me, nothing about this office is the least bit child friendly. No one knew how to speak to my daughter, there were no pictures, stickers, or children books. My daughter was treated like she was a hassle from the beginning and the doctor had the nerve to huff and puff every time my daughter flinched. She acted like the child, this is probably why she does not do well with them. If you really carefully look through her reviews you will see that the people who have left negative feedback say the same exact thing about Dr. Muller's bedside manner, this was a horrific experience and I intend on leaving this type of feedback on every website she is listed. If you have kids - stay away! The receptionist publicly noted how they did not want patients with Blue Cross Blue Shield while speaking to her husband. Let it be noted this was the same person who checked me, she was well aware my daughter had this insurance. Also note that if you do have this insurance you will have to leave your credit card information because they have issues collecting payment from Empire, you will be responsible for the entire visit! When I notified the receptionist that this was not fair and I should have been told about this well before my visit, she kind of just shrugged it off and told me I could call Empire to see if they would cover it! Really? Isn't that the job of the billing specialist within the doctor's office? So I had to call and push back my appointment time to make sure. Please stay away, why go somewhere that does not want to deal with you? They are in the customer service industry and have the audacity to make you feel like your the problem! Never again!

I had a wonderful experience in Dr. Muller's office. Her staff was very kind and helpful- especially when answering all of my menial questions (this was my first eye exam ever). ***One tip: If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield, make sure you're covered for a visit to Dr. Muller. The office has been having difficulties getting some procedures covered and I had to call the insurance company while sitting in the waiting room, which tacked on another 30 minutes to my wait time.

Worst experience with an ophthalmologist ever. Dr. Muller is pushy and condescending, as others have noted in their reviews. She does a thorough examination, a lot of which is unnecessary and extremely pricey (isn't that convenient!). I went in for a routine eye exam and got diagnosed with dry eyes. But of course!... she is a dry eye specialist. Dr. Muller gave me a bunch of literature to read on how common and dangerous this disease is - I imagine she does this to everyone who goes to see her. She then put me on a daily regimen of several different eye drops, ointments, eye plugs, etc. and had me go back every 2 weeks for follow-ups visits (repeat business... cha-ching!). Long story short, none of her treatments were helpful in the least, and she would get very defensive every time I told her as much. I think her strategy is just to scare patients into thinking they have deadly eye diseases and allergies even for the mildest of cases, put them on the same over-the-top, formulaic treatment plan (i.e. various eye drops and ongoing follow-up visits), and then extort a hefty bill out of their pockets/insurance. The office staff is also very unsympathetic about your opinion and feedback. Never going back here, and wish I'd never gone in the first place.
