About Dr. Jennifer Lopez Troy
Dr. Jennifer Lopez Troy earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy, a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and a minor in Religion from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She subsequently earned her Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine where she remained to complete her residency.
Dr. Troy has a special interest in adolescent medicine and reproductive care. She is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish. She has recently relocated to the Tampa area with her husband and daughter. They did not and apparently do not receive the information provided to Zocdoc. I needed to complete the entire package again when I arrived. The front desk was not very friendly or pleasant at all. I did like Dr. Lopez however, I'm not certain how precise/in depth my exam was.

I booked with this provider because of her great reviews and not did she NOT disappoint. This office was amazing from the front desk staff to the intake contact and the doctor herself. She was so welcoming and listened to all my concerns while providing with amazing guidance for my concerns. The exam was not painful and she was so conscious of signal for any possible discomfort. I immediately recommended her to my family member before even leaving the office.

I've been to 3 different facilities and love them all. Yesterday, I had my first official prenatal appointment with Dr. Troy at the Plant City location. She got me squeezed in for an ultrasound at the Brandon location, warning me that there might be a wait since the appointment time was around lunch. The wait was hardly a wait, I was in the waiting area for MAYBE 15 minutes. The technician explained what she was seeing and eased a lot of the anxiety I had. I have seen Dr. Granger at this lol location previously for a 14 week miscarriage that required induction. He was gentle and understanding. I truly appreciated the way he handled my case. He apologized for being "gruff" at one point, but I didn't see him that way at all.

Dr. Troy is THE BEST! She’s been my doctor for 5 years and I completely trust her. She was my doctor through a pregnancy and 3 surgical procedures. She is intelligent, caring, down to earth, practical, and has a great bedside manner.

The office is always clean, the staff is professional without being “fake” or “uppity”. The doctors are down to earth and explain everything in a way that you understand. The have late night with appointments available after 5pm, who does that anymore...Dr. Granger and Dr. Lopez-Troy are amazing!

was referred to Dr. Jennifer Lopez Troy by a friend and I'm glad I went. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and the ladies were very sweet and professional. I don't think I waited even 15 minutes before I was called back to speak with Dr. Troy. She patiently listened to my concerns and we came up with a plan. Great experience! I try to make an appointment each time (rarely have trouble finding a time that fits with my work schedule) and I MIIIGHT wait 10-15 minutes. But that's normal at a doctor's office. Nurses are nice, receptionist is nice, and I love my doctor. They do spend time answering questions and you don't feel like you're holding them up. I'd definitely recommend! I prefer to see Dr. Troy but I had a different doctor for a very impromptu appointment and she was very pleasant so it wasn't a big deal.

I have been a patient for 6 years and I absolutely love the staff at Woman’s Care! They are so caring and have fantastic customer service. I have had many interactions with the front office staff such as Angela, Iris, Lynette & Shelly and they are truly a blessing. They have the best attitude and are always a pleasure! Doctor Troy is a great doctor I just adore her. She has the best bedside manner truly just wonderful!!!

I've been a patient of Women's Care for over 10 years now, with my last 2 babies being delivered by their physicians. This was my first time at the Plant City location but my over all experience at all locations is always great. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Jennifer Troy-Lopez is my personal favorite but they are all great physicians for the most part
