“I’m not quite sure about the eye test. I’m not seeing the letters like I did previously. The road signs are not good until I get right there. I see the bigger parts of the signs. The smaller prints on the tv are not clear they are blurry. I’m sorry for these comments but, I will give it a few more days.”

About Dr. Jennifer Turcott
Jennifer Jacobson Turcott, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1994, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from St. Olaf College.
Dr. Turcott is proud to be a third-generation optometrist, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Ray, and her father, Lee. She understands the importance of caring for multi-generational families and is committed to providing each patient with quality eye care.
Dr. Turcott says, “Seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds has instilled me with a sensitivity to special-needs patients, such as children and the vision impaired.” She especially values the trust her patients place in her as their eye care professional.
When not in the office treating patients, Dr. Turcott enjoys spending time with her husband and their two grown sons. She also likes to read and stay active by hiking and skiing.

It’s all good except when the employees opened the door of the exam room, and handed me my purse. It made it awkward to ask my final questions because they remained standing in the room. I’m sure it’s because the doctor needed to move on. I felt a little rushed out of the office. In fact, I needed my glasses adjusted and forgot and went home. Now I need to return to have that done. Other wise excellent service.

Everyone is always friendly and willing to help. Started here in the early 70's with Dr. Lee and have never had any complaints about service or care. Dr. Jennifer carries on the good care.

I had a 10:40 appointment and the reminder asked me to be there 15 minutes early. So, I arrived at the desk at 10:25. Katelyn quickly took me back and did the preliminary tests. She was wonderful, explained everything and was very personable. Then, once in the exam room I waited and waited and waited for an hour. I ended up pacing in the hallway and with numerous staff - more than I have ever noted - not one person offered any explanation. Finally After a 10 minute exam I was done and went to the counter to pay my bill and even that was a very slow process! Then, I asked about an appointment for my husband and explained that he sees Dr. Oletungi in Eau Claire annually so all tests wouldn’t be necessary. After being there so long and already running late for a meeting, I asked the gal to discuss it with Dr. Jen and call me please. This was on the 18th and I have yet to hear a word. Even though I was one of the last patients of the day, Dr. Jennifer and the staff took their time with me. I had a great conversation with Dr. Jennifer and trust her expertise on the best prescription choices. I had so much fun trying on glasses. I am a new loyal patient.

Jacobson has been my hometown eye clinic my entire life. I've been treated with the upmost respect every time I've ever entered the building. Everyone that works there have treated me like family, and I'll always appreciate that.

The people were great, but the electronic questionaire wasn't the best. One other thing was considering the amount of time I was there ,I was informed of where abouts of a rest room or drinking fountain. I found both but the drinking fountain needs adjusting.

De.Jennifer was hands on immediately and opened her office early to examine me when I experienced an emergency situation. She is extremely knowledgeable and and administers her services in a very kind and caring manner. I highly recommend her and her staff to everyone who wants the best for themselves and their family!

Dr. Turnout listens to me and adjusts her services accordingly. She does not repeat tests done by other practitioners who are giving current care. And it is evident that she cares about our community. Her in est mentioned here is vital and Cumberland is better for it.
