About Dr. John Kuryan
Dr. Kuryan is a native of Philadelphia and grew up just a few miles from our office in Northeast Philadelphia. During childhood, he was a member of the Philadelphia Boys Choir and later attended Central High School.
After graduating from an 8-year combined BA/MD Medical Scholars program at Widener University and Drexel University College of Medicine, he completed a residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed a fellowship in adult & pediatric Allergy & Immunology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish.
Dr Kuryan has had numerous publications and presented his research at local, national and international conferences. Prior to joining ENT and Allergy Associates, he joined Allergy & Asthma Care in 2012, where he served as the President & Managing Partner.

Doctor was great. Listened to me and made solid recommendations. I was already feeling better before leaving the office.
If I could make one constructive criticism, it would be to tighten up the confirmation and check in process. I must half received the same link via text and email at least half a dozen times and filled out the same paperwork at least twice. Other than that slight annoyance, it was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back and get shots.

Excellent bedside manner and very knowledgeable. Clearly communicated testing process and next steps. Office staff were friendly and office was very clean. No wait time at all and I arrived early. When I booked the appt, I was able to get the appt for the next day which was amazing from the start. Highly recommend this physician and office. Far exceeded my expectations.

The appointment was for my 2 year old. I have concerns about sleep apnea but the ent we went to was hinting that it may be allergies. We were taken back to the room quick and the allergy test was conducted quickly which showed negative. Doctor Kuryan was very good at explaining what was being tested and seemed very concerned with what was going on with my child. I would recommend him to my family if needed.

I had a great visit! Absolutely recommend! All of the office staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. The heat in the patient rooms wasn’t working, so they made sure to bring me a space heater. The doctor listened to everything I had to say and asked questions. He also asked if I missed what I was allergic to, as I might’ve had a false positive. I didn’t know this was possible and I’m excited to see! The doctor did a skin test, an ID test, and sent me for blood work. I was there for two hours and felt really cared for.
