I didn’t even got the time to communicate all my symptoms and concerns before I was rushed out after not even a 5 minute visit with the doctor, the doctor literally spent more time talking on the hallway outside my door with one of the nurses about an angry patient being rescheduled for the 3rd time, I felt so frustrated that I was literally still trying to talk to the doctor about the reasons I came in to the visit as he walked me out to the lobby… so disappointed, not coming back.

I was very disappointed. I made the appointment online from their website. I go confirmation texts messages even on the day of appointment. When I arrived the woman stated I had no appointment. She said that appointment was canceled. No one contacted me to tell me and the woman was not friendly or helpful. I explained I got confirmation texts and all my information was put in so someone should have called me. She just shrugged and said the online system isn’t very good. Whoever canceled my appointment should have reached out to me. That was really rude and inconsiderate. The doctor I was scheduled to see was there at the time but she stated he was finishing up for the day. So I guess he didn’t care I made an appointment with him. She finally offered to make me another appointment, but I declined and won’t be using that office again.

I will not recommend this office and this doctor for the following reasons: 1) My insurance is covered for this appointment, but using their web it shows mine is not accepted. It wasted my time to call my insurance to confirm. 2) The people at the front desk kept chatting for fun while I was trying to ask some questions. 3) The doctor was not incompetent and took too long to check my eyes under ultra bright light, which made me feel abnormal even the following day. 4) The doctor forgot to check my eye pressure for my routine eye exam.

Zocdoc said they did glaucoma consultations but I was told upon arrival they did not and I was rescheduled. It's annoying I was not contacted about this beforehand

I have multiple text and email confirmations stating my appointment date and time was for today at the correct location with the correct doctor. When I arrived 40minutes early for my appointment, I was told I did not have an appointment and when I showed all my proof I was told it was because I booked through zocdoc which is not Live. Ok. But I booked many days in advance and if the issue was that zocdoc is not live and that the appointment that i recieved so mamy confirmations on did not really exist , then why was I not contacted by office to reschedule days before arriving on time to an appointment that is 30mins drive away and I took the day off work for? I requested to be squeezed as a courtesy since this was not an error on my part and was denied. Very unexpected outcome and unprofessional.

After waiting for almost an hour, he walked in and was almost immediately arrogant and condescending. As a new patient, I was very taken back, confused, and felt as though I had to be defensive even. He did seem somewhat knowledgeable but unfortunately first impressions are lasting and having a great rapport from the start with my provider is necessary so I will not be going back. His medical assistant was pleasant though, so I'll say that.

This was my first experience seeing an ophthalmologist and definitely a great one. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Lane was very kind, listened to all of my concerns, and explained everything to me very clearly. I would definitely recommend both Dr. Lane and the Eye Center!
