Family medicine drew me in because of the opportunity to care for a broad range of patients across all walks of life. As someone who has been active in sports throughout my life, I also developed a deep interest in sports medicine, which motivated me to pursue a fellowship in primary care sports medicine. That combination allows me to care for athletes, the general active population and individuals who are looking to become more active, all while focusing on keeping my patients doing the activities they love. My approach to healthcare is patient-centered. Understanding each patient's goals is essential, so our treatment decisions are aligned with their desires. I strive to be a supportive presence and address health concerns within the broader context of each patient's life. Through our interactions, I hope to promote lifelong wellness by encouraging movement and preventing and managing disease. I have specific clinical interests in ultrasound-guided injections, relative energy deficiency in sports, female athlete health and lifestyle medicine. Outside of the office, my family and I love being active together. Growing up, I played soccer, golf, figure skating and snowboarding, among other sports. More recently, I've taken up weightlifting and had the opportunity to compete in a local competition. I'm also passionate about being involved in the community, whether that means visiting farmers markets or exploring various restaurants.
