Dr. Kara Williams grew up in Dixon, IL. Having struggled with bad eyes as a child, she developed an interest in optometry at an early age. She received a Bachelor from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she was also named valedictorian of her class. ?After working in both retail and ophthalmology practices, Dr. Williams opened Bright Eyes Family Vision in 2015. It is her mission to create an unforgettable experience for each patient by providing unparalleled customer service, exceptional patient education, superior product quality and the best eye health care possible. ?Dr. Williams is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and knitting. She also enjoys providing eye care to under-served populations through mission trips
