“The doctor was great! Very efficient, and she explained everything very thoroughly and clearly. I did not have to wait long. However, the staff at the store where the doctor’s office is located was not very friendly, spoke very unclearly, and was on the edge of being rude. That made the whole experience much less enjoyable.”

“Dr. Choi is super friendly and a good listener but professional. I don’t have any problems on my old contact lenses but she gave me the better suggestion.
Also the staff is very friendly and kind. Her explanation is very clear and I could understand completely even though I am not English speaker. Plus, the location is very convenient. I could avoid the bad weather.
I will be back for next eye exam.”

About Dr. Karen Choi
Dr. Choi strives to provide a thorough, professional and caring eye examination. Whether you need a new prescription, are having eye discomfort, or a serious eye issue, Dr. Choi is dedicated to giving the best examination possible while keeping you informed every step of the way.
She received her Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry, and her undergraduate Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Science and Psychology. As Dr. Choi is residency trained in ocular disease, she confidently practices full scope from contact lenses, visual concerns, to medical optometry.
Dr. Choi also does charitable work providing eye care to New York City children with visual disabilities, as well as to underprivileged people in other countries.

The Doctor was friendly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what was happening throughout the eye exam. After my exam concluded, the staff members were terrific in helping me choose a pair of glasses. Overall the experience was great.

Dr. Choi was the best! I went in to rule out vision problems as a source of my migraines. She took the time to explain and walk me through everything and left me feeling well-informed. The entire staff was friendly and very conscious of my comfort/safety around Covid. Highly recommend!

Dr. Choi was outstanding and as I walked in the front door was greeted cordially by her and her front office staff. They were very thorough in their precheck COVID routine and the office was very tidy. I was able to see Dr. Choi right away even though I was a couple minutes late and was performed a couple of routine eye exams before I could speak with her about needing new prescriptions. Overall a very good experience and will be going to her often as my primary optometrist.
