About Dr. Karen Norrick

Karen Norrick, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University Bloomington School of Optometry in 2001. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin in 1996. Throughout her career, Dr. Norrick has focused primarily on family eyecare, providing care for patients of all ages. She joined Grabill Eye Center in 2024 and enjoys the friendly, small-town atmosphere it offers. Dr. Norrick is an active member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ohio chapter. She has dedicated her time to over 15 mission trips to developing nations, including Haiti, Nicaragua, Peru, Panama, and several others. Her passion lies in providing care for individuals who have never had access to eyecare before. Outside of work, Dr. Norrick is an engaged member of her Auburn community. She serves as Vice President of the local Rangers Soccer Academy and Treasurer of Silver Snaffles Pony Club. Additionally, she is involved in her church and her children's activities. Dr. Norrick has been married to her husband, Dr. Doug Norrick, for over 20 years, and together they have three children. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
