About Dr. Kate Lee
Dr. Kate Lee, M.D. attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida for her undergraduate studies and continued there for her medical training. She completed her residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans before moving to Texas and joining Rockwall Eye Associates.
Dr. Lee is board certified and licensed in Texas. She has staff privileges at Medical City of Dallas, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, the Ophthalmic Surgery Center of Dallas and Key-Whitman Surgery Center in Dallas. She also has faculty privileges at University of Texas Southwestern where she volunteers her time instructing and training the residents on skills needed to perform cataract surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Lee treats all diseases of the eye and specializes in cataract surgery, including laser-assisted cataract surgery and the newest technology for accurate lens selection that is performed during the surgery. She is well-versed in selecting implants that greatly reduce dependence on glasses for both distance and near. In the clinic Dr. Lee also evaluates and treats glaucoma including laser therapy, corrects eyelid malpositioning and performs in-office eyelid lesion removal as well as cosmetic Botox.
In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys both jogging and cycling, and has participated each year in the Bike MS 150 Ride across Dallas to benefit multiple sclerosis. She is newly married and is looking forward to starting a family.

When checking out I asked the lady at the desk did the doctor give her my prescription for my glasses . She rudely profiled me and said oh Medicaid does not cover prescription glasses . That was very rude instead of asking who I was first and pulling up my file, before assuming i was on Medicaid was very unprofessional. I assume it was because I was black . Very unprofessional and very unfortunate to assume or even speak your thoughts before thinking. I would not recommend my family or friends to this unprofessionalism. It’s sad.

My first and possibly my last visit to this office. But that’s because this isn’t my permanent area to live. But it was a great visit I just couldn’t afford the price of their frames currently. But I did get my prescription and I will take it to another eyewear place and get my frames.

I honestly feel like there wasn’t much that they did for me. They did some test on my eyes and said everything was fine. Prescribe me some eyedrops which I don’t need eyedrops. I really want surgery on my eye. For obvious reasons I do have a lazy eye. I was told that they didn’t really notice it but I really do notice it and makes me very insecure I was hoping to get
