About Dr. Katie Bogusz
Dr. Katie Bogusz graduated from Penn State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 2008. She graduated AOA from medical school, which is the national medical honor society. Dr. Bogusz completed her residency in internal medicine at NYU School of Medicine. Her residency included training at NYU Langone Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital, and the Manhattan VA Hospital. She was then honored to be selected as one of the chief residents at NYU. During her year as a chief resident, she not only continued to care for patients, but she helped to organize the ambulatory care curriculum for the internal medicine interns and teach the interns various topics in outpatient medicine. Dr. Bogusz continued her training at UMDNJ in Newark (now Rutgers) for her Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology fellowship (which included training in adult and pediatric allergy, asthma, and immunology). In her last year of fellowship, she was chief fellow. She completed her training in 2014. Dr. Bogusz is board certified in allergy, asthma, and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) and board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
