About Dr. Krikor Manoukian
Dr. Manoukian is the founder of HeyAllergy, Allergydox, and the Los Angeles Food Allergy Institute. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Allergy/Immunology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He strives to provide quality and effective care for patients suffering from various allergies, asthma, and immunodeficiencies.
Dr. Manoukian received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Biology and Economics from the University of Southern California (USC). He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles, a UCLA-affiliated hospital, and his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at UCI.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI). He is also a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Manoukian’s research interests include, but are not limited to, asthma, food and drug allergies, allergen immunotherapy, and contact dermatitis. His academic achievements include publications and presentations at major conferences and seminars.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology.

Started 45 minutes late. I've been having bad seasonal allergies but felt like he was just trying to sell me on some immunotherapy program that really didn't seem like the right approach to me. Tried pushing a discount for commitment into a years long program. Canceled my follow up appointment because it felt salesy – got a second opinion and didn't land anywhere near needing something like this.
They take a deposit while they confirm your insurance – I've been following up for 3 months now and still haven't gotten my deposit back.

My first appointment was difficult “getting to” even though it was online. Ultimately, I ended up seeing Dr. Manoukian 90mins after my scheduled time because there was a patient emergency. I understand emergencies and I’m quite glad that they’re so responsive to medical emergencies. I’m less satisfied by the appointment scheduling process. I was notified by the staff by phone and email that the appointment would be delayed but they had different info in each so it was unclear if the appointment was going to happen at all. My second appointment follow up appointment was scheduled for today. It was confirmed in an email that the appointment was scheduled. I ended up waiting for the tele-health link for 20mins past the appointment time (maybe another emergency?) only to find out that I somehow was not on their schedule for today and would need to reschedule for a time ten days from now. That said, the outcomes from the regimen that’s been prescribed by have been life changing.

I had a great experience! Dr. Manoukian listened to all my complaints and offered a treatment and/or follow up directions for each issue. I've been struggling for months now and have seen plenty of doctors. He reached out to me before the video visit's scheduled time to let me know he'd be available earlier in case I was available and wanted to be seen earlier and that was awesome! He's quite friendly and easy to talk to as well.

There was a mixup between Zocdoc and the doctor's office and I showed up and they weren't expecting me. The office manager and staff was super friendly and accommodating to get me in within 30 minutes. Dr. Manoukian was very interested in hearing all the specifics and was careful in outlining his plan for my allergy in a specific and targeted way. Highly recommend this practice based on my experience.

Dr. Manoukian is the best"as my daughter also sais". He saw as right at our appointment time. He thoroughly examined my daughter, explained to me in great detail what and why he was doing. He explained to me my daughter's condition, the causes, and any treatment options. My daughter is generally scared of doctors, but Dr. Manoukian's calm and gentle demeanor made the visit as smooth and easy as possible. I highly recommend him.

The office is efficient, I never have to wait long for my shots and am always able to make an appointment to fit my schedule. the doctor is always willing to see me when I have a concern, listens to my concerns and tries to provide a solution.

I strongly recommend Dr. Manoukian. He has excellent bedside manners and the detail with which he conducts his consultation is impeccable. I noticed an improvement in my condition within the first week of seeing him.

Choosing Dr. Manoukian and his staff is one of the best choices I've made! Dr. Manoukian is an excellent physician. Patient, honest, always takes the time to answer my questions and concerns. My allergies have improved immensley. Sally, Jessica & Janet are simply the best support staff I've ever had the privelege of working with! I couldn't ask for more!

I have known Dr. Manoukian as colleagues and as a patient. he is professional helpful and caring. Their schedule is flexible, they are open on saturday and later on wednsdy. i am very impressed how updated they keep the on call doctor of my care plan.
