About Dr. Leslie Loberant
Leslie has been a family physician in Pennsylvania for over 23 years. She moved to the state in 1994 after receiving her BS in Biology/Chemistry with honors from Keene State College in New Hampshire. She attended Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, completed a Scaife summer fellowship in Pittsburgh in addiction medicine, traveled to Uganda to practice hospice care, and achieved her medical degree with an Honorable Mention for the E. Harold Hinman Memorial Prize for extraordinary interest and accomplishment in family medicine. Upon graduation, she completed a 3-year residency in family medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital. Leslie has worked in the traditional outpatient office setting, urgent care, as well as in telemedicine most recently, seeing patients of all ages. She has enjoyed taking time to raise 2 children with her husband, a pediatrician, and spending time with her 100-year-old grandmother on many adventures. She enjoys adolescent medicine as well as travel, nature excursions, and forever learning new things.

Was checked in and put in a room for an hour amd a half with no update. There were no people in the office when I arrived. I just left after waiting so long.

This was my first appointment at the Altheda Medical Center, and I was thoroughly pleased to say the least!!! The staff are extremely professional, courteous, attentive, and kind. The office itself is very warm and welcoming, and the aesthetic offers a calm and clean environment. Dr. Leslie Loberant provides the initial wellness check-up I’ve ever experienced. She was extremely attentive, didn’t break eye contact, wanted me to tell my history, asked appropriate questions, and highlighted my health achievements that I’m doing well and offered me guidance on things I don’t understand well or offered different perspective on. She definitely has a holistic approach to medicine and focuses on a person’s whole health. It was amazing. Then I got blood work the same day with Dr. Steven Twan. He was so professional and exhibited excellence in his job as well as staying personable! He made me feel calm and cared for. So far so good and I would highly recommend this place!!!

Overall, I had a very good appointment with Dr. Leslie Loberant. I was impressed by her questions and she communicated very well with me. She ordered some testing for me at Sewickley Valley Hospital. Upon having the test, I will schedule a follow-up appointment to go over the results and any recommended treatment.

This was my first visit. I encountered a Friendly helpful staff, relaxed soothing environment, lots of information in the waiting area . I had an in depth initial interview with Dr Loberant. The facility and physician have a Holistic approach to medicine and health . It was quite a long wait to see doctor Loberant. On the other hand, she spent a long time with me, asked pertinent questions, considered my heath aims, and provided helpful answers, so I consider it worth the wait. Overall, the facility and doctor are reminiscent of visits to and by one’s family doctor that i experienced as a child in the 1940’s. That is very rare these days, and very welcome. I am in general good health so cannot comment on Dr Loberant's expertise with serious ailments

I’m new to the practice and so far, I will continue to schedule appointments. I went in for one reason and they offered me testing for all sort of communicable diseases and or infections as well. I really appreciate that, because you normally have to ask to be tested for certain things.

The experience on Zocdoc was really nice! The unfortunate part is that I took a lot of time to fill out my medical forms before my visit. Sadly, I had to go back over A lot of it with staff. Perhaps they did not see I already filled out on Zocdoc?
Both doctors (Dr Loberant I saw for visit and made Dr drew my labs) were incredibly kind,great listeners, and took their time (I was not rushed). The staff help seemed young and as though they were in training but they were very kind! The office is really nice decor but didnt smell the best. I did have to wait about 40 min to be called back but I just played on my phone and didn’t mind. (It was only myself and another patient in the waiting room). The reminders sent out by staff and perhaps Zocdoc were abundant. It seemed to be a reminder Every day! Perhaps they have a lot of people who dont show up? Unsure but I will definitely come back again. The drs were amazing.

Even though the wait time took more than what I expected, the overall visit was very satisfying. The front desk workers were welcoming, the attendant wo took my vitals, was polite, the technician who did my blood work did a satisfying job, and the doctor made sure she covered health questions that were related to my age and gender. She was so polite and advised me what I should do to minimize health issues as I continued to age.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Dr Leslie Loberant and the whole staff made the whole experience from start to finish - absolutely seamless and overall wonderful! She’s very professional, funny, and genuinely cares about her patients’ well being. She’s listened to my concerns through and through and gave me very helpful insight and information about what’s going on with my health. The wait time was very short and was taken back almost instantly, the waiting area and rooms were absolutely spotless and the cleanest I have ever sat in, and overall the environment isn’t stuffy or awkward like usual doctor’s offices tend to be. Hopefully I won’t need to go to the doctor again any time soon but when I have to I would absolutely return to Dr Leslie Loberant again!
