About Dr. Lester Brown II
Enjoying all aspects of primary care is what drives my work every day. I take time to get to know my patients as people, because understanding who they are - their personalities, their lives and their priorities - helps me understand how to best support their health. My approach is rooted in clear communication. I work to break down complex medical information in a way that is easy to understand, so patients can feel confident and informed about their care. At Novant Health, we believe that a strong physician-patient relationship is the foundation of great healthcare. In 2024, I was honored to receive the Novant Health Physician of the Year award, a recognition that means a great deal to me. Outside of the office, family comes first. I'm a proud father of two children, and spending time with them is one of my greatest joys. My three dogs, Olive, Lewis Hamilton and Caesar, keep things lively at home. When I'm not with family, you might find me trying out a new restaurant, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, hitting the slopes for a day of snowboarding or tinkering with cars.
