Maggie Ray is an attentive and compassionate OB-GYN serving the community of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received her medical degree, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from United States Air Force Academy.
Dr. Ray is a part of Lowcountry OB/GYN and is also board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received the Frank M. Sluder Award for Resident Teaching Excellence 2005, the US Air Force Academy Track and Field Scholar Athlete 1993 and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society 2001. Dr. Ray gives each patient her focused attention, and she prides herself on delivering the best treatment available.
Dr. Ray is devoted to ensuring the longevity of her patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. She takes her time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all her patients.

Dr. Ray was great. She listened to my issues and more importantly, heard what I said. I did not feel rushed. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was a wonderful experience for a visit that can typically not be much fun. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ray is awesome. She's thorough but quick so my appointment was over in less than 30 minutes, which is perfect for someone that has to get back to work sooner rather than later. She's also just a wonderful person all around, remembering details about my personal life and checking in with me. It makes me feel like I'm in the best hands possible.
