About Dr. Margaret Sass
Family medicine allows me to take care of patients at every stage of life and build meaningful relationships with entire families. I am especially passionate about preventive healthcare and believe in working closely with patients to help prevent illness whenever possible. Being in the best possible health allows you to live your best life. And that's my goal for every patient.
My approach to patient care is rooted in partnership, respect and a desire to empower patients to take an active role in their health. The best outcomes, I believe, happen when we work together. Patients can count on me every step of the way for my expertise, guidance and support.
I take time to listen, understand your goals and create a care plan, using evidence-based medicine, which is tailored to you and fits your life.
I am honored to have served as chief resident while at the University of Maryland from 2014-15. That was an experience that strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Outside work, I am often cheering on my two daughters at their sports activities. Our family loves being outdoors, especially when our dog is by our side. We're all animal lovers, so we often share our home - and our love - with a few extra small pets, as well.
For fun and relaxation, I enjoy working out, baking bread and cooking meals for my family. It's these simple moments that bring me joy and balance.
