This was my first appointment with Dr. Romano. Within the first 5 minutes of introducing herself, she said "let's make this quick" which bothered me by making me feel rushed. I did not find her assessment thorough--she did not ask me about my relationships, sexual activity, diet, exercise, and stress levels. Ultimately, I felt like my appointment very basically "covered the bases," but was impersonal and not very proactive.

My experience at Main Line HealthCare was fantastic! The check-in process was easy and every staff member I met was friendly, professional and very helpful. This was my first appointment here, and I am extremely happy with the way my appointment with Dr. Marylou Checchia-Romano went. She is very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. She took the time to go through all of my health records with me, and patiently listened to all of my questions and concerns. At the end of the appointment, she took the time to go over everything we discussed. I left with a clear understanding of how we will address each of my health concerns. I will definitely continue to make my healthcare appointments here and I would highly recommend her and this office to my friends and family.

I have rarely seen this level of professionalism, medical knowledge, and personal interest in my well being as is shown by Dr. Checchia-Romano. Dr Checcia-Romano focuses on the immediate issues and develops actions to address them, and she also looks to longer range issues and advises actions on that also.
