Dr. Michael E. Drennen, originally from Ohio, came to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., to complete his residency after graduating from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He and his wife fell in love with the greater Charlotte area and made the decision to stay close.
While at Rock Hill GYN & OB, Dr. Drennen finds it critical to build a communicative partnership with his patients in order to provide patient-centered care. He enjoys being a reliable constant in his patients’ lives and staying current in surgical technology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Drennen believes that a great benefit of the field of OB/GYN is providing comprehensive care at some of the most important times in a woman’s life starting at the very beginning – the birth experience.
Dr. Drennen enjoys reading and exercise, but most of all just spending time with his wonderful wife and family.

I usually to the Rock Hill office because it is close to where I live and work. It is always very busy and I usually have to wait a while but the Fort Mill office had a more relaxed atmosphere and things didn't seem so rushed as they do in Rock Hill.
